The Herbert C. Jones collection documents the home files of Senator Herbert C. Jones. This collection is divided into eleven series, and a total of 9 linear feet, in 8 manuscript boxes (1-8), 2 pamphlet boxes (9 and 11), and 1 flat box (10). All attempts have been made to keep these files in their original order. There is also an extensive newspaper clippings collection which has been left in its original order within the collection

This collection consists of the personal papers pertaining to Marian Melendy, the first woman to be elected to the Santa Clara County Board of Education. The date range for this collection is 1947 to 2016

The H.C. Tibbitts photograph collection contains 114 black and white photographic prints taken by H.C. Tibbitts during his employment as a contract photographer for the Southern Pacific Railroad's magazine Sunset. The photographs predominately depict landscapes and agricultural views of the Santa Clara Valley between 1909 and 1915

This collection contains surveys of property and plans for sewer and road construction, primarily for Santa Clara County, made by Henry B. Fisher and his son Raymond W. Fisher

The Santa Clara County Medical Examiner-Coroner's Office Records consist of coroner inquests and testimonies, suicide notes, coroner's official registers, records of coroner investigations, hospital death records, and lantern slides of cells and tissue samples taken from the deceased -- The inquest records range from 1948 to 1958. These records contain testimony and evidence for investigation of suspicious deaths or suicides. These records also contain a file of suicide notes from the 1950s to 1960s. The coroner's official registers and records of coroner investigations document investigations into cause of death. These records contain the name of the deceased, birth and death date, place of birth, names of parents, occupation, place of death, cause of death, and on occasion a suicide note or photograph. The suicide notes and photographs have been removed from these record books and filed separately for preservation purposes. The hospital death records record the names of those who ...
