This collection consists of original drawings of Eads Bridge created by two separate firms: American Bridge Company and Terminal Railroad Association. In total, Washington University holds 663 original drawings of the Eads Bridge: 570 drawings from the Terminal Railroad Association and 93 additional drawings from the American Bridge Company. Washington University does not hold any corporate records of the American Bridge Company or the Terminal Railroad Association, or project files for other bridges built by either company. In addition, Washington University holds no personnel files related to the construction of the Eads Bridge

There are photos, programs, dance cards, reunion material, photo albums, scrapbooks, and clothing, including the customary freshman beanie. The collection is organized into boxes by material type. Box one contains loose paper and photographic material, box two contains bound volumes, and box three contains clothing. Within box one, the materials are arranged alphabetically. Items from different donors are housed in different folders

Boxes 21427-21429 contain miscellaneous design samples sorted into alphabetical groups according to client/project. Box 21429 also contains design samples of work carried out for conservation groups Save Our Waterways Now Inc. (SOWN), Brisbane Rainforest Action & Information Network (BRAIN) and Ithaca Intact, as well as samples for Queensland museums. Box 21430 contains samples of presentation folders, Museum Zoo game cards, a publication titled 'Capturing the journey: the Q150 steam train' and miscellaneous un-alphabetised ephemera, newsletters and pamphlets.
