Personal papers of the American dramatist, poet, and teacher. Includes his literary writings (1933-1940), notebooks (1945-1988), lecture notes for literature classes taught at Bennington College (1961-1988), letters received (1944-1988), and printed ephemera documenting plays, concerts and exhibits attended (1950-1988), and travel (1944-1988). Photographs portray family (circa 1850-1964) and friends, writers, artists, dancers, and musicians.

American architect and architectural historian. Most of the research materials relate to three of Fitchen's books: , , and . Other papers include designs, drawings, and sketchbooks, as well as correspondence with numerous architectural historians, primarily on the subject of medieval architecture.

German gallery in Cologne, dealing in contemporary art. Maenz exhibited, loaned, and sold works by conceptual artists and the German neo-Expressionist painters. Correspondence, financial files, artists' biographies, press clippings, printed matter, and photographs cover virtually every facet of the gallery's operations, 1970-1990. The photograph files comprise approximately half of the archive and document works by artists and most of the gallery's exhibitions.

An assembled collection of visual and written documentation, including correspondence and artists' statements, and photographs and drawings relating to gallery installations, sculptural pieces, conceptual pieces, land art, and performances. Includes artists' letters to German critic and editor Werner Lippert and Galleria Toselli in Milan, and materials pertaining to the exhibition Prospect 69 (Dusseldorf, 1969). Includes letters from artists and gallery owners to Konrad Fischer, and some Fluxus printed ephemera.

The archive documents the work of Beaumont and Nancy Newhall, two key figures in the history of photography, through correspondence, extensive research files, published and unpublished writings, and photographs, slides and audiotapes. Beaumont Newhall's papers (136 lin. ft.) date from ca. 1843-1993, Nancy Newhall's papers (14 lin. ft.) date from ca. 1920-1989.

Records of the organization Experiments in Art and Technology, generated and collected by its president, Billy Klüver, and other staff members, the bulk from 1966-1973. Materials include project files, correspondence, proposals, reports, photographs, posters, audiovisual materials, minutes, clippings, printed matter, and other items.

Collection comprises ca. 1600 letters (ca. 1921-ca. 1978) sent to Robert Valançay, the French poet and critic, from artists and writers of the surrealist group. Twelve letters are from Valançay. The collection includes a translation in manuscript by Valançay, 5 manuscripts by others, printed ephemera, and ca. 50 photographs, most presumably taken by Valançay.

Papers and photographs document Gere's research on Italian old master drawings, especially Raphael and his circle, and Taddeo and Federico Zuccaro.

The collection, compiled by the French photographer and collector Joachim Bonnemaison, consists of over 630 photographic and printed panoramic images of cities and sites mainly in Europe, but also in Africa, Asia, North America and South America.

The papers of Peruvian Surrealist poet and artist César Moro include notebooks, drafts of poems, manuscripts of articles, personal diaries, exhibition catalogs, photographs, and correspondence with a number of other artists of the era, including André Coyné, Benjamin Péret, Paul Éluard, Leonora Carrington, Wolfgang Paalen, and Rufino Tamayo. Also included are two collages by Moro, a watercolor by Alice Rahon [Paalen], an etching by Wolfgang Paalen, and several works by patients with mental illness at the Hospital Larco Herrera, where Moro taught art. The collection also includes books and journals from Moro's personal library.
