Primarily illustrations of bindings clipped from a variety of sources, but also includes a few ms. binding designs. A notice "From a number of members of the Boston Society of Arts and Crafts" regarding a deficit and a supplemental ballot (1 sheet) is laid-in at front. Laid-in at back are: 14 typewritten sheets, 1 ill. mounted on thick stock, and 1 sheet of printed examples of initial letters folded around 6 sheets of tracing paper with practice letters drawn in manuscript -- A majority of the bindings illustrated are French. Manuscript binding designs include an exlibris design for Josephine P. Morgan and a book of remembrance in memory of John O. Chase. Typewritten sheets are mostly bibliographies or definitions relating to the history of the book
